Summer Camp

On any given morning the farm is a quiet, serene place. The pace is slow and easy and the only sounds are coming from the dairy. It’s the bleat of "The Girls" jostling to be next in line for milking. But the quiet serenity will quickly change when the flowers are in bloom, the summer sun warms the air and the kids arrive!

The 2011 Elodie Farms Summer Day Camp was a huge success! Our campers had fun and learned so much about the farm, and enjoyed all kinds of activities: games; a tour of the farm; planting turnips and harvesting potatoes; making pizza; creating our own tie-dyed shirts; making potato chips; and of course meeting the goats and learning about cheese-making.

All the campers made it so fun and we'll miss each and every one. We can't wait until next year when they bring friends to share the summer with us on the farm! Check back here next spring for updates about the 2012 Summer Day Camp.
