The rustic charm of Elodie Farms lends itself beautifully to any wedding theme that strives for simple elegance. A family-owned, working farm, we are located in northern Durham County, about 45 minutes from Raleigh, and Chapel Hill, and only 20 minutes from Durham.

Our 110-year-old farm house is the centerpiece of your unique country setting and features four large, connecting rooms bisected by a long, wide hallway that leads into a spacious, fully renovated kitchen. Each room comfortably seats about 18 people, and the entire house is decorated with original, local artwork (which is available for sale). The farm house is framed by a large "L" shaped porch on which our guests have been relaxing and dining for years. The porch can easily accommodate another 20 people and overlooks the front and side lawns which are graced with ancient maple, oak, fir, and pecan trees. The side yard is flat and can host large tents for guests who wish to be out of doors and near the pasture on which the goats, horse, and donkey graze.

Amenities include: spacious changing room for bridal party (complete with refrigerator, microwave, and private bath), large kitchen with a 10-burner/2-oven stove (a real plus for caterers), access to the walk-in cooler for caterers and wedding cakes, and copious parking. All cheeses, vegetables (and soon some meats) made on Elodie Farms are available for you to incorporate into your menu should you so desire. Just have your caterer ask for availability. Dave is very flexible and accommodating and will work closely with you to ensure your complete satisfaction. There are no requirements for caterers, and the property is very accessible for rental companies.

The house and grounds will also make for a unforgettable venue for your rehearsal dinner and party. For parties of 50 or less, rentals for tables, linens, dishes, flatware, etc. are available, as well as service staff. Please call Dave for rates and availability.
