Yoga at the farm
Intro to Yoga Series
DESCRIPTION: A six-week comprehensive series to help you build a strong foundation for practicing yoga and everyday mindfulness. We will meet for eleven classes from Aug. 5 to Sept. 11, and each week we progress deeper into the many practices of yoga including posture, breathing, mudra (gesture), relaxation and sound. Class topic is repeated twice weekly, so if you happen to miss a few classes, you will still receive the full benefit.
This series is perfect for beginners, older adults, or yogis who have gotten away from the practice. The cumulative nature of the series presents yoga as a tool to help manage the challenges of our changing bodies and busy minds. By attending, you will feel stronger, more flexible, gain balance in body and mind, and come away with the tools to make yoga and mindfulness a part of your everyday self-care.
Classes will be held in our weather-proof outdoor pavilion so we can enjoy the beautiful bucolic scenery rain or shine. Class is limited to 10 participants.
